Air Max Tailwind 1 Black Grey Red Men\’s
Any story about Air, especially Air Tailwind, won\’t leave Frank Rudy\’s name behind. Although he is a NASA aerospace engineer, the invention of the sneaker air cushion seems to have changed the lives of ordinary people more for us than his achievements in flight dynamics. Designed in 1987 by Tinker Hatfield and current CEO Mark Parker, the Air Max 1 pioneered an epoch-making visual air cushion and dramatically improved cushioning and stability. Inspired by the modern building of the Pompidou Centre in Paris, its large glass curtain wall allows for an unobstructed view of the building\’s interior. After visiting the Pompidou Center, Tinker Hatfield proposed the concept of Air Max\’s iconic windowed visible air cushion and bright color scheme, and successfully developed it in practice. The Air Max Tailwind 8 is the 8th generation running shoe of the Air Max Tailwind. To ensure a perfect balance between the wearer\’s response and cushioning during high-speed sports, the running shoe features an engineered mesh upper and a full-length segmented Max Air unit. Flywire cables can be adjusted with your stride for a dynamic fit, while flex grooves provide a flexible feel for movement. Foam wraps an Air-Sole unit, and a rubber outsole adds deep flex grooves. Engineered mesh provides breathability in the forefoot while providing support for the midfoot.
The Air Tailwind actually went on sale in 1978. At that time, it had a very fast appearance, a breathable and durable upper material, and most importantly, the Air Sole midsole, which was advertised as \’never leaking,\’ making the Air Tailwind a worthy star shoe of that era. And those lucky enough to participate in its development and testing, even after taking off the Air Tailwind, have difficulty adapting to the running shoes that used to be hard under their feet.
In 1979, about a year after the first appearance of the Air Tailwind, this running shoe was released on a large scale. It is precisely for this reason that 79 has become an essential element in subsequent promotional activities, including the naming of replica versions. From this perspective, although the first air max cheap launch of the Air Tailwind was in 1978, in a broad sense, this year marks the fortieth anniversary of the birth of the Air Tailwind series. This comb is also used to salute this historic and avant-garde history of running back. If the origins of Nike running shoes are divided into three categories, the Cortez and Air Max series each represent one category, and the remaining category is Tailwind. After the introduction of the Air Max in 1987, the name Tailwind was liberated from its limitations. A few years later, Tailwind took a different form, using exposed air cushion devices, and tested them in different forms. The characteristics of the upper gradually evolved from other shoes of the early generation. We also look forward to the name Tailwind returning to the running shoe family after a brief snowstorm and continuing its Air story.
